My little update!

Heyo my name is Hopeasaurus and welcome to my blog! My current position is in the corner of a classroom in my school. It is after school and I am waiting to get picked up, so why not write?

I know, where have I been? Time has once again slipped from my grasp and has left me apologising for posting so late. I am so sorry, forgive me? Anyway, I thought that I would do a little update about my life and what is currently happening in my life. I don't usually do posts about myself personally, but I think that you guys don't mind? A post that has been quite popular of mine, is 25 facts about me, so maybe you guys like finding out a little more about the girl behind the blog?

So, recently I have had a total of 16 tests; these aren't major tests like GCSE's, but they do decide what set I will be in for the next 2 years... I thought a little effort would be needed! However, all of these tests are now over- and I'm happy to say I'm pleased with my results. Just goes to show you that you get what you put in (maybe a little extra if you're lucky)!

So, that's kind of all that has been happening in my life recently. I hope all of you amazing people are doing okay, leave a comment telling me a little about what has been happening in your life!

Reasons to love summer!

Heyo my name us Hopeasaurus and welcome to my blog! I know it's been a while and I am so sorry, time has escaped from my hands and so I am left with the amazing news that summer has arrived.

These are my 5 reasons why I love summer!

* For a teenager like me, going out with my friends to multiple different places every week is something that I love.

* No school for 7 whole weeks. This is a long time to have off and I am so great full for it! Only 29 more days left!

* The warm summer sun has arrived... finally! For those of you living in nice sunny countries and are wondering why Britain's get excited over 20 degrees, we don't get sun very often. Our climate is just meh, but in the summer it gets hot enough and everyone gets a bit excited.

* Vacation or stay-cations are always fun in the summer- the going out to somewhere new and just exploring the world a little but at a time. I myself am going on holiday in the October holidays so I am not going on holiday in the summer- if you are going on a vacation leave a comment :)

* You get to see your family and go out with them. I rarely see some of my family, but in the summer we all meet up and catch up. Also, going out with close family is nice as you can get away from stress of homework.

Anymore reasons to love summer?

Blogging tips for beginners

Heyo my name is Hopeasaurus and welcome to my blog! My biggest apologies for not uploading on Sunday, I promise I shall make it up to you :)

So today I thought I would share some blogging tips that I have personally found useful in growing and expanding my blog. I know I am still a new blogger, but these are all things I am learning as I go.
So here we go...

Post blogs as often and as regularly as you can. Yes, I am still working on the regularity side of this and I know it's something that I need to improve in. However, I try to post as often as I can and I have to say it has boosted my views with the more I post.

Let your personality show through your blogs. Yes some people may not want cheesy jokes in the middle of blogs, but to me, letting my personality across through my blogs has helped my obtain a constant flow of people reading my blogs.

Visit and comment on other blogs. Whenever you leave a comment on someone's blog, it not only makes them feel good, but may get you a few cheeky views yourself. If your comment is nice or constructive people would want to check your blog out; you can see if they have on your referring sites part of your stats. Here, you can see where your views are coming from.

Here are few of the many things I've learnt in my short time of blogging! Let's get some networking done- leave your blog below and I'll be sure to check it out :)

The battle of music

Heyo my name is Hopeasaurus and welcome to my blog! Music is something that influences people's lives and I think that's a really special thing.

The music that I listen to are mainly by one of two people: Ed Sheeran and George Ezra. They are completely different in styles, but both of their music has such strong meanings behind it. I think it's nice to see people that are so honest and true singing about the things that they have gone through.

It's no secret that I especially love Ed Sheeran. To me he's such an inspiring person; he plays the guitar sooo well and writes and sings his own songs.

However, everyone likes different music, and that's what I think is great,  there's something for everyone. My friends for example like one direction, they are for them what is my Ed Sheeran. That's what I believe is so important, the music that you listen to is so personal and important to you. Therefore you get offended if someone says it isn't good- I know I do!

I think it's important to stand by what you like and believe in, whether it's music or standing up for yourself it's important to you, and you should never forget it.

Quote of the week!

Heyo my name is Hopeasaurus and welcome to my blog! Today is the sixth quote of the week; you can see the others here, here, here, here and here.

This week's quote is...
"You were born an original. Don't die a copy." ~John Mason.

This is similar to last week's quote. Individuality is so special and should not be lost. You were born different, and you shouldn't change yourself for anyone else.

Have you heard of this quote before? If you have a quote you like, then leave it in the comments below and it might be next week's quote!

How to survive exam time!

Heyo my name is Hopeasaurus and welcome to my blog! It's exam season, and luckily enough I don't have major exams this year- just mocks. I've come to learn some tips from some of my friends who are taking GCSE's, and I thought I'd share them with you all.

Take lots of breaks whilst revising- this one is something that applies to a lot of things (work, homework). It is so that you don't get tired or bored, it keeps your mind exercised and relaxed.

Take chocolates to eat after- this one is apparently like a treat so that you can de-stress with your favourite snack after an exam. It's a good idea because then you have something to look forward to during the exam :)

Know what you need to know- this one must sound stupid but, at the end of the day the best thing you can do is to know what you need to know, and learn it. A lot of schools these days teach their students to remember what they should know, rather than learn it. If you learn it, you know it, if you remember it, you get nervous. When you know something, you are confident. So allow yourself the pleasure of confidence by leaning it!

Have you got any more tips and tricks?

Quote of the week

Heyo my name is Hopeasaurus and welcome to my blog! I am sorry I haven't posted in a while, no excuses. But, today is the fifth quote of the week; you can see the others here, here, here and here.

This week's quote is...
"Be yourself, because originals are worth more than copys."

I love this quote, it is so true and super inspiring. This quote shows that you should be independent and follow your own rules. If you copy someone, you won't be a better person- just the same as someone else. Being your own person is better, and will make you feel better too.

Have you heard of this quote before? If you have a quote you like, then leave it in the comments below and it might be next week's quote!
